Below: Peter Moeller of DKRG and KoRoot has been calling himself a “lawyer” or “attorney” in both Danish and international press since 2022. This is a screencapture from this Danish article:

The Danish word "adoptionsadvokat" translates to "adoption lawyer" in English.
Yet there is NO evidence that we have been able to find since 2022 that Peter Moeller is, in fact, a lawyer of ANY kind.

Please note that we strongly believe that Peter Regel Moeller of DKRG (Danish Korean Rights Group) has FALSELY claimed to be a “LAWYER” in multiple international press outlets since 2022. While we cannot prove with 100% certainty that he is not a lawyer, we cannot find him on either Danish or Korean Bar Association websites. We have not been able to find him on the Danish Bar Association website Advokat Samfundet, which lists ALL Danish lawyers, from 2022-2025.
A Korean Adoptee has even contacted Advokat Samfundet who can find no reference to this particular Peter Moeller in their system. (“Peter Moeller” is a common name in Denmark, but this specific person is not listed in their database of ALL Danish lawyers). Other Danish Korean Adoptees have privately been telling us since 2022 that Peter Moeller is NOT a lawyer.
We have NEVER been able to find Peter Moeller or Peter Regel Moeller or Peter Min Hong Regel Møller on the Danish site Advokat Samfundet since 2022, when he first began to tell international press that he was a lawyer.

On April 13th, 2025 we received the response below from Advokat Samfundet regarding our inquiry as to whether or not Peter Moeller is a lawyer.
Adovokat Samfundet wrote:
”On the Bar Association's website www.advokatsamfundet.dk you can use the Advokatnøglen to find a practicing attorney. If the attorney is not listed here, he is not a practicing attorney.”
Guess who is not listed on Advokatnøglen? Peter Moeller.
Next we wondered, could he have become a REAL lawyer in Korea since 2022, when he first falsely claimed in international press that he was a lawyer when he wasn’t one? It’s illegal in Denmark to say that you are a lawyer when you are not one.
Yet there is no Peter Moeller, Peter Regel Moeller, Peter Min Hong Regel Møller, or even any Peter on the Korean Bar Association website either. Try the search yourself:

Yet he has claimed in multiple recent April 2025 articles to be a lawyer, for example this one from the Korea Herald:
Since 2022, Peter Moeller and his wife Boonyoung Han have collected the sensitive adoption documents of Korean Adoptees worldwide under what we strongly believe to be the FALSE premise that Peter Moeller is a “lawyer”. We have never been able to find ANY evidence to support that he is a lawyer. Please contact us at paperslipadoptee@gmail.com if you have further information or if you have been told that Peter Moeller is a “lawyer”.
We have alerted a related group, USKRG, which actively promotes DKRG, as of April 11th, 2025. They cannot claim NOT to know. Many people are aware but do NOT speak up. We see this as COMPLICITY.
Even if we are wrong, and Peter Moeller somehow obtained a law license from somewhere else in the world apart from Denmark or Korea, to our knowledge, he has definitely NOT been listed as a lawyer in Denmark on Advokat Samfundet from 2022-2025, and he is definitely NOT listed as a lawyer on the website of the Korean Bar Association as of April 11th, 2025.
Peter Moeller has also told MANY people in person that he is a “lawyer” since 2022. While there are rumors that he has had some legal training (though we’ve never even seen any evidence of that), you are not legally allowed to say that you are a “lawyer” in Denmark without this being the case. While some Danish Adoptees have tried to offer the explanation that the Danish terms jurist and advokat translate to the same term in English - “lawyer” - the word advokat (the Danish word that actually means “lawyer”) has been used to describe Peter Moeller in DANISH press.

In the early days of the TRC in 2022, Korean Adoptees (including this writer) were asked to sign over legal representation to Peter Moeller with the understanding that he was a “lawyer”. Adoptees have been asked to turn over their private, sensitive adoption documents to DKRG with the very likely FALSE pretense that Peter Moeller is a “lawyer”. It is widely believed that he has had “paralegal” training, which carries far less weight than the term “lawyer” - however we have never even seen evidence of that. Peter Moeller has never described himself as a “jurist” or “paralegal”. He has always described himself as - and has allowed others to describe him as - a “lawyer”.
Apart from the very serious issue of Peter Moeller likely lying about being a “lawyer” in international press, there are multiple articles (about 5) in the respected Danish newspaper Politiken which detail Peter Moeller’s past fraudulent activities related to the START! and Vesterbro Music Festivals in Denmark dating back to 2011, in addition to articles in other Danish publications. US Adoptees need to be aware of the likely CURRENT and well documented PAST fraudulent activities of the co-founder of DKRG Peter Moeller, and of the COMPLICITY of his wife Boonyoung Han (and others who are aware) in NOT speaking out!

Peter Møller has a documented history of bad business behavior dating back to 2011 in Danish Press!
Peter Møller has been in Danish press for wrongdoing connected to his role in the mismanagement of Music Festivals since at least 2011. He was intensively in Danish press for financial mismanagement and bad behavior in connection to the START! and Vesterbro Festival in 2013 (see articles linked below).
We do not know if there were any prior or subsequent Danish press articles about Peter Møller. He is not a lawyer in Denmark or Korea as far as we can tell (see above this section). In Denmark, he rented band space. That was his actual job.

We know that before he became involved with DKRG and the Korean Adoptee community, Peter Møller developed a REALLY bad reputation in the music industry in Denmark related to the music festivals START! and Vesterbro Festival - Peter Møller’s mismanagement and poor treatment of bands was widely reported about in multiple articles by the serious Danish publication Politiken (see article links below). Peter moved from Denmark to Korea in 2023, seemingly leaving his festival businesses behind. At some point he married Boonyoung Han, his now wife. There are apparently SEVERAL negative articles (see below) in Danish press related to this topic. This coming weekend, the Vesterbro Festival takes place in Den Brune Kødby in Copenhagen. Around 80 bands will play at this year's festival, which is now facing great criticism from several quarters.
The Public Information Committee under the Culture and Leisure Administration in Copenhagen has thus initiated an investigation of the Vesterbro Festival, and also of the practice venue association MUVE, which is closely connected to the festival. This happens after accusations that the association has excluded several critical members and that there is no transparency in the board and in the festival. This is written by politiken.dk.
Jesper Nordahl, deputy chairman of the Copenhagen Municipality's Music Committee and one chairman of Dansk Live, also directs criticism at the Vesterbro festival. He says to politiken.dk:
"We have warned young musicians many times against playing at the Vesterbo Festival. But there are so many very young, brand new bands who want to perform, and you can understand that they want to. But because they are very young and perhaps a little naive, they don't listen to the stories that there is incompetence in the festival's management, that there is bad behavior towards bands and volunteers and lack of transparency in the accounts of the festival and the rehearsal space association".
The festival's chairman and ordinary board member of MUVE, Peter Møller, rejects the criticism and welcomes the municipality's investigation:
"They should be welcome to that. We are happy to put everything forward. We are positive about the investigation, and we are sure that we live up to the rules and our own statutes that are in the association. There is nothing to look forward to ", says Peter Møller to politiken.dk.”

After a forced extraordinary general meeting, two key people have been given less prominent roles

“Vesterbro Festival has been in the spotlight for large parts of 2013, and it has not only been because of the programme. The small niche festival has been the subject of sharp criticism and has been accused of having opaque accounts and of being too closely associated with the Music Association Vesterbro (MUVE).
The duo (redacted) and Peter Møller have been criticized for having one foot in each camp. Both of them have had financial and managerial responsibility in the two associations that stand behind Vesterbro Festival – the association Vesterbro Festival and the rehearsal room association MUVE, which is why, according to the critics, there has been disqualification and payment of operating support across the associations.
Since May this year, both culture and leisure mayor Pia Allerslev and Rikke Lauritzen, chairman of the Folkeoplysningsudvalget, have demanded action from the management of the two close-knit associations and have even threatened to remove the annual municipal contribution of DKK 100,000 that MUVE receives in direct support. Now the associations have taken the consequences of the criticism and have held the general meeting that has been forced upon them, so that things can be put in order.
According to Politiken, after a good two-hour long meeting on Tuesday, it resulted in the 29 voting members of MUVE having elected a completely new board and at the same time also a new chairman. That title is now awarded to Claus Bøje. This does not mean, however, that (redacted) and Peter Møller are completely out of the game. The former chairman (redacted) will now act as day-to-day manager of MUVE, and Peter Møller will hold the position of chairman of the association Vesterbro Festival as before.”
