Please Note that below is are old KSS (Korea Social Service) brochures from 2011 and 2004, and that KSS’ Post Adoption Services is now PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
KSS processed overseas adoptions between 1964-2012 through a specific list of Partner Western Adoption Agencies.
ALL former KSS files were transferred to NCRC’s Temporary Storage Facility on July 19th, 2025. KSS’ files may again be moved at some point in the future.

KSS ceased processing overseas adoptions in 2012.
A comparison of KSS’ far right column of Number of Adoptions (per each of KSS’ Partner Western Adoption Agencies) reveals that between 2003 - 2011, the ONLY Partner Western Adoption Agency with which KSS was continuing to work was FAC (Family Adoption Consultants) of the US.
KSS only formed a partnership with FAC in 1985 and presumably worked with FAC as its last remaining Partner Western Adoption Agency until KSS’ cessation of processing overseas adoptions in 2012.
