NCRC Clarified On October 1st, 2025:

“Please note that the “Information Disclosure Request” mentioned (in a Korean only post to NCRC’s website) is different from the “Adoption Information Disclosure Request.” (It is a separate system unrelated to adoption, and adoption records cannot be obtained through it. In addition, foreigners residing outside Korea are not eligible to apply. The application site is different, and it is not processed through the NCRC.)

Since it is unrelated to adoption, we did not post any notice regarding it. At present, adoptees CAN apply for an Adoption Information Disclosure Request without issue through the Kadoption (KAS) website.
