Ongoing Plagiarism Attempts Against Paperslip.org

October 25th, 2026:

There continue to be ongoing plagiarism attempts against my original,
Copyrighted KSS K-Number research and other original information.

A S. Korean media company is using an email address which uses the term “decodeknumber” which is a direct reference to my work.

Any outside email address which references the decoding of KSS K-Numbers has nothing to do with me or Paperslip.org and
represents a flagrant intention to plagiarize my work. Please note that KSS was the only Korean Adoption Agency to encode its K-Numbers.

As Co-Founder of Paperslip.org, I decoded KSS’ K-Numbers between 2020-2021. This research was conducted as a central part of my years long investigation into my deceased twin sister’s case. Others have long sought to unethically take credit for this research, for which
I have been given public credit by the Associated Press in 2024.

Ironically, the same Associated Press journalist who wrote the article above about my case also unethically failed to credit my work in a major documentary which was predicated on my years of research into KSS history and practice.

Alice Hutton of The Guardian has also recently publicly credited me as the person to decode KSS K-Numbers between 2020-2021.

I am tired of major instances of plagiarism after nearly a decade of having served the KSS and overall Korean Adoptee community.
