When Should You Submit Your Requests To NCRC Via The KAS Website?

Please note that we do NOT think it’s a great idea to submit your requests to NCRC via the KAS website right away (close to September 16th, 2025). Adoptees have already experienced difficulties with the KAS website when submitting their requests. NCRC has said that their website will not be updated until around early 2026. NCRC’s current website is based on a severely outdated platform, which it has known about for years yet never fixed.

Another reason to wait is that NCRC may still be engaged with the physical file transfer from the Korean Adoption Agencies to its Temporary Storage Facility in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do until at least the end of 2025. We recommend that you wait a bit of time before you submit your requests to NCRC via the KAS website!

*Please Note that “Visit Reservation” refers to Visitor Reservations to visit NCRC’s Temporary Storage Facility in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, where ALL former Korean Adoption Agency documents are now housed. This is where Adoptees can now conduct a file review (with an appointment, made through the KAS website).
