Looking forward to seeing the story of KSS Adoptee and KSS Cribmates member Tanne in this upcoming film about mixed race (Hapa) Korean Adoptees. I had the pleasure of meeting Tanne in Seoul in June 2025, on our way to visit the Omma Poom park in Paju, where she was being filmed. We had been in touch off and on since 2021.

In the snippet below, you can see a portion of Tanne's KSS "English Adoptive Child Study Summary" and her KSS child photo attached to her KSS "Physical Examination for Immigrant" form. Both of these documents were unique to KSS.

I codified the term “English Adoptive Child Study Summary” in July 2021, which is when I realized that KSS kept a secret version of this document called the “Korean Adoptive Child Study Summary”. I had photographed the formerly secret “Korean Adoptive Child Study Summary” in my own file at KSS in 2018.
