Adoptees deserve truth, not misinformation. Please fact-check before amplifying false and unsubstantiated claims on social media.

Putting your group’s logo on false claims shared on social media doesn’t make them credible.

Adoptees deserve truth, not misinformation. Please fact-check before amplifying false claims on social media.

Recently we have noticed the amplification of FALSE information by a “Korean Rights” group. We urge you to FACT CHECK unsubstantiated claims before accepting them as truthful.

We appreciate good news as much as anyone — but we want it to be REAL, not manufactured falsehoods meant to mislead and exploit vulnerable Korean Adoptees.

We hope you notice the difference between the information we provide for Adoptees and what certain “Korean Rights” groups share. Whenever possible, we include links to credible, published sources to support our content. While we may not always be perfect, we are committed to correcting any errors promptly. We do NOT believe it is ethical to spread unverified information without evidence. We encourage caution when reading social media posts from some “Korean Rights” groups, as they often make claims without citing credible, published sources.
