We are pleased to announce that three KSS Adoptees have reunited with or are soon to be reunited with their respective birth families in Korea, in June 2026.

We are honored to have played a small role in each of these three separate KSS Adoptee reunions with their respective birth families.

One US KSS Adoptee is currently reuniting with his triplet siblings and other birth family members in Seoul. We had previously reviewed for free the KSS birth family search forms for him prior to the transfer of all former KSS files to NCRC on July 19th, 2025. We offered this free service for hundreds of KSS Adoptees between 2021-2025. Our free review meant that he filled out his KSS birth family search forms correctly and successfully requested his Korean Adoptive Child Study Summary, which thus avoided any delays in KSS’ timely response prior to the file transfer to NCRC. This Adoptee managed to get “in before the lock” of the file transfer to NCRC. We additionally conducted a follow up private zoom with the KSS Adoptee, and referred him to a Korean translator for his reunion experience, which has worked out very well. We are extremely appreciative of this Adoptees’ sharing of photos and updates and wish him the best in his continued reunion experience!

Another US KSS Adoptee recently reunited with her birth mother and other birth family members in Seoul. We had previously advised this Adoptee through a private Zoom consultation, which resulted in her finding her birth family. We have greatly enjoyed seeing photos of this Adoptee’s reunion on social media and wish her the best in her continued reunion experience!

Another Dutch KSS Adoptee will soon be reuniting with her birth family in Seoul. We had previously advised this Adoptee through a private Zoom consultation, which resulted in her obtaining information which led to her finding her birth family. This Zoom consultation took place after the July 19th, 2025 transfer of former KSS files to NCRC. We are eager to hear about this Adoptee’s upcoming reunion experience and wish her all the best!

Between 2021-2026, Paperslip has played a small role in the early stages of the reunions of 48 KSS Adoptees with their birth families.

In 2021, we also reunited a pair of Holt twin sisters with their birth father in Korea through DNA testing.

The specific test taken in the above case was 23 and Me - however, Korean Adoptees with an interest in birth family search should take ALL possible DNA tests.
