Adoptees may overlook details in documents they’ve had for years. Today, I uncovered an Adoptee’s birthplace and a child with a K-Number just one digit apart. A private consultation made it possible.

If you are new to birth family search, and don’t know where to start, I am happy to point you in the right direction through a paid, private one hour Zoom consultation.
Advisory Sessions - For Both KSS and Non-KSS Adoptees
I don’t conduct on-the-ground birth family searches in Korea, but for those who are planning a trip, I can connect you with resources in Korea and advise you on how to use them effectively. This alone can save you thousands of dollars on travel expenses, so you actually know what to do both before and after you arrive in Korea.
In my experience, many Adoptees who have never been to Korea have never closely examined their adoption documents — let alone do they know what steps to take once they arrive or how to prepare for their search.
Through paid, one-hour Zoom consultations, I’ve helped countless Adoptees navigate this process, better understand their documents, and prepare to make the most of the resources available to them in Korea.
Now that NCRC is providing a lot more information than the Korean Adoption Agencies did previously, Adoptees are able to obtain more information about their backgrounds. I’m happy to help Adoptees learn how to interpret this information, and point them in the right direction for a deeper dive birth family search in Korea.
If you have interest in a paid one hour Zoom consultation, please contact me at paperslipadoptee@gmail.com. Believe me, I don’t do this for the money. I think I’d make more money doing Door Dash than advising Adoptees.
However, for your part, an inexpensive one hour Zoom could potentially save you years of time and thousands of dollars of wasted money chasing in the wrong direction.
You are welcome to include a spouse, child, or non-Adoptee friend in the Zoom with no additional cost. However, if more than one Adoptee joins the Zoom, both Adoptees would need to pay the fee, given that the Zoom will take twice the amount of time.
