Fittingly, the S. Korean Govt. is disinfecting and transferring ALL former Korean Adoption Agency files from NCRC to the National Archives — just in time for IKAA, when hundreds of KADs arrive.

It actually makes sense for the S. Korean Government to transfer the files in Winter, when the fewest number of Adoptees are in town…usually. Except this year is IKAA, the once every three year Korean Adoptee conference in Seoul. Hundreds of Korean Adoptees will be in town, and many of them have appointments booked at one or both of NCRC’s two locations.

The transfer is something Adoptees asked for. Looks like we’re getting it.
