“Holt International, it’s time to fight to pass the Protect Adoptees and American Families (PAAF) Act!!

Even though Adoptees were brought to the United States to form American families – and even though this was led by agencies like Holt International — citizenship wasn’t secured for all Adoptees. This massive flaw means that some Adoptees have been subject to detention and deportation, and are still separated from their families and homes.

The PAAF would repair existing legislation so that all Adoptees who were legally adopted by American parents are granted automatic U.S. citizenship. It would allow Adoptees who have been deported a path to come home – and it would finally grant adoptees equal rights as any American’s biological children. Over 65 organizations agree: @holtinternational, it’s time to join the fight to pass the PAAF and bring Adoptees home.”
