Birth family search processes change fast. Check our Paperslip Blog for updates, as older posts may not always be current.

Please note that in the current environment, birth family search procedures are changing incredibly FAST, and are ever evolving. It doesn’t help that Adoptees are not given much notice for these changes by NCRC (the Korean public institution which is, at least for now, in possession of all former Korean Adoption Agency files), and that WE are left to fill in the gaps in terms of explaining complicated birth family search processes and procedures to Adoptees.

Please check our Paperslip Blog frequently for updates, as it is impossible for us to revise ALL older posts with updated procedures. While we try our best to revise things as we go, there is simply no way for us to catch everything.

You can also follow our PUBLIC Facebook page here.

KSS (Korea Social Service) Adoptees ONLY may join the private forum for KSS Adoptees, KSS Cribmates. Please be sure to answer the membership questions, or your request will be declined. If you are not sure whether or not you are a KSS Adoptee, you can email us at paperslipadoptee@gmail.com

Non-KSS Adoptees can find their relevant Facebook groups here.

We strongly recommend for those who are new to birth family search, and particularly those who have a first trip back to Korea upcoming, to do a paid private Zoom Consultation with us. Doing so may save you thousands of dollars, and years of wasted time. Please be sure to read the Consultation page entirely before contacting us.

Remember that if you feel overwhelmed by Paperslip, you can use this handy Google search trick to search this (or any) website.

Thank you!
